Sean Spicer Might Be Replaced by a Trump-Loving Talk Radio Host

After a series of high-profile missteps and months of reports that President Trump was ready to sideline human Curb Your Enthusiasm theme Sean Spicer, the White House press secretary may finally be searching for his own replacement.

As Politico reported late Monday, Spicer and White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus have already reached out to two possible candidates about the job: Fox News contributor and radio host Laura Ingraham and David Martosko, the resident Trump sycophant at the Daily Mail.

Ingraham, for her part, did not work that hard to dispel the rumors when she showed up on Fox News Tuesday morning.

The White House had already begun to roll back Spicer’s public-facing role, deploying Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders to conduct daily briefings.

To the horror of the White House press corps, the Trump administration has also strictly curtailed daily press briefings in general, with Spicer holding a press gaggle on Monday where no audio or cameras were allowed.
