These Activists Erected a Statue of Jeff Sessions as a Confederate General–And Then Tore It Right Down
Activists protesting the ending of DACA put up a makeshift statue of Jeff Sessions as a Confederate general in Washington, DC, and then tore it down Wednesday.
“We are here to make it really clear that Jeff Sessions is a living monument of the current white supremacy that is in the White House,” said one activist.
Ending DACA affects almost 800,000 people brought to the U.S. illegally as children.
