A Bernie Sanders fan gave a server a 100% tip to prove a point about the minimum wage
Bernie Sanders is very enthusiastic about a $15 minimum wage. In July, he introduced a bill in Congress to pass a federal $15-an-hour minimum wage. On his campaign page, he’s got a whole page (https://berniesanders.com/fight-for-15/) dedicated to his fight for a federal $15-an-hour minimum wage. He even sent a tweet this morning that reads: “We need a movement which says that every worker in America deserves a living wage and that we will raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour.”
Over on the Bernie Sanders Twitter fan page “People For Bernie” (@People4Bernie), one supporter went to some pretty extreme lengths to prove his or her dedication to one of the Bern’s pet causes.

The customer, whose identity isn’t known, tipped $15 on a $15.65 to the server at Flanagan’s Bar And Grill in Chicago, and explained why on the receipt.
“I support a $15 minimum wage. Thought I’d put my money where my mouth is,” the customer wrote, finishing it off with “#FeelTheBern.”
