Fuck: Fucking Marco Rubio Wants To Fucking Know Where the Fucking Decency Fucking Went, You Fucks

Yesterday, a man murdered five people at Capital Gazette, a local Maryland newspaper, in what was reportedly at least the 154th mass shooting in America in 2018. Immigrant children whose parents were fleeing violence are being ripped from their families. Trans women of color are being murdered at a catastrophic rate. Unions are under attack. But for Senator Marco Rubio, a flaccid gas station Slim Jim, one issue trumps them all: people saying the word “fuck.”

This morning Rubio tweeted a wild one.

There’s good guy Rubio, taking a stand for the things that really matter. Pretending like he has any pearls to clutch and standing up not just for civility (and Chick-fil-A) but for the countless asterisks that are now out of a job and can’t feed their families because people aren’t ashamed to say the word “fuck” anymore. Won’t someone please think of the asterisks!!!!

It should be noted that yesterday, during an appearance on CNN, Capital Gazette shooting survivor Selene San Felice employed the word “fuck,” uncensored, in response to the tired cliche of politicians tweeting about “thoughts and prayers” to those affected by the tragedy. “So thanks for your prayers, but I couldn’t give a fuck about them if there’s nothing else,” she said.

A woman who survived the shooting that killed her coworkers dropped the word “fuck” on national television out of rage and helplessness at the powers that allowed this to happen. Rubio thinks the problem is the word “fuck.”
