Trump 'Probably' Won't Cancel His MAGA Rally During Hurricane Michael Because It Would Be 'Not Nice'

Hurricane Michael slammed into the Florida panhandle this afternoon, beginning an assault on the Southeast U.S. that will last through the next few days. But instead of monitoring the potentially catastrophic situation on the coast, President Donald Trump will most likely be spending his Wednesday evening shouting whatever inane half-thoughts spring to his tuna casserole mind to an arena full of red-hatted lunatics.

Telling reporters that he’ll “probably” go ahead with plans to hold a MAGA rally in Erie, PA. Trump claimed he didn’t want to cancel the event because, gosh darn it, so many people were already in line.

“I don’t want to disappoint people,” Trump said. “So, we’ll probably go because what are you going to do? Tell thousands of people who’ve been waiting there all night that we’re not coming? That’s not fair either.”

Trump’s comments, made during a White House bill signing on Wednesday afternoon, echo his statements from earlier in the day, when he told reporters that to cancel the rally would be “not nice.”

Another thing that is “not nice” are the millions of people stuck in the path of a monster storm that’s already begun tearing roofs off buildings, who are left to wonder why the President of the United States can’t be bothered to tell a few thousand MAGA chuds hungry for a safe space to shout “lock her up” that he’s got more important things to do. It’s good to have priorities.
