Sean Hannity is one of Donald Trump’s key advisers, but he also has a side gig as a Fox News host, and it was supposedly in that guise that he turned up at Trump’s final rally in Missouri on Monday night ahead of the midterm elections.

Hannity promised his viewers that he would not let his two personas merge. He was there as a Fox News Man, ok???

“I had no idea you were going to invite me up here!” Hannity said, with the air of someone who extremely knew that Trump was going to invite him up there.

Will Sean Hannity receive any sanction for lying to the public and for blatantly using his high-profile media platform to propagandize for the president of the United States? LOL.

Update, 12:36 p.m. ET: Whoops! (This is where I mention that Hannity’s colleague Jeanine Pirro also participated in the rally. Almost like there’s a troublingly close relationship between Fox News and the Trump administration!)
