After Washington state legalized recreational marijuana use, local growers are looking at opportunities to cash in. We talked to small boutique growers as well as a man who hopes to someday run the “Starbucks of marijuana” distribution.

But even with medical marijuana allowed in 20 states, marijuana arrests are up across the U.S. And in Washington state, African Americans are still more like to be arrested for marijuana possession than whites, despite the fact that white people smoke pot at higher rates.
