Former member Zayn Malik scrubbed from One Direction tour video
Last Wednesday, Zayn Malik announced his departure from British boyband One Direction, leaving behind Harry Styles and some other young men who are also in One Direction, I am told. As you’d expect, the global teen community did not take this news well.
But the (literal) show must go on, as One Direction is currently in the midst of a world tour. At Saturday’s concert in Johannesburg, South Africa — 1D’s first performance as a foursome — Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson reportedly split up Zayn’s solos. Malik was even edited out of the opening video that introduces the band before each show.

This is the pop music equivalent of changing your Facebook relationship status to single (or maybe the equivalent of untagging yourself from all those couple shots?). Moving on is hard, but now the healing can begin.
Good night, sweet prince, and flights of Nialls sing thee to thy rest.
