'Game of Thrones' heroine walks the Paris fashion week runway like a warrior

Ditching the armor and shield — but keeping the penetrating glare of her Game of Thrones heroine Brienne of Tarth — Gwendoline Christie confidently stormed the Vivienne Westwood runway yesterday like it was any other battlefield.

Putting her towering, brooding good looks to use, the actress took two spins on the gold streamer-laden catwalk, sauntering in both a black caftan and a pantsuit — replete with a shabby top hat and a smear of black war paint across her eyes.

Her backstage goofiness, however, totally belied her austere stage presence; she hammed it up in hair and make-up with fellow models and makeup artists.

Christie looked like a natural and reminded me why I’ve always called her the Tilda Swinton of Tarth — with that washed out coloring, ascetic personal style, and titanic bod any designer would kill to dress.
