“The main issues in Mexico are sexual and reproductive rights, including abortion and education, for all women to have a life free of violence.

“We have to transform cultural patterns; there is a lot of machismo in Mexico so we have to accompany women in their process of emancipation. Feminism is a space of inclusion. The more of us there are in this space, the more possibilities we have to change our daily realities.

“Equality and justice includes all of us. When women have more opportunities it will benefit everyone, including men.”
