@TheColtonBurpo's 'Heaven is for Real' Tweets Offer a Glimpse of Heaven
Heaven Is for Real, a movie based on a book of the same wonderful name, is currently out in theaters. It tells the story of a little boy who claims to have died and visited Heaven in the midst of a harrowing operation. The story is written by the boy’s parents, Nebraska-based pastor Todd Burpo and Sonja Burpo. Now an unverified Twitter account purporting to be that of Colton Burpo — the little boy (now age fourteen) at the center of the story — has been promoting the film rigorously. The majority of these tweets share tidbits about what Heaven is like, based on Colton’s visit there. It seems like a fun place, especially if you’re a little boy and have common little boy interests, like pets and racecar beds and Greg Kinnear.
