Jealous Girl Learns a Valuable Lesson on the Dance Floor

One of my favorite mantras is from Kurt Vonnegut’s 1965 novel God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater. It’s brief, but it certainly does a great job at outlining how one should live:

“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies—God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.”

Which brings us to today’s video, an example of what happens when you’re not kind. In the clip below, the little boy with moves like Jagger—yeah, that was terrible, I know—justifiably scolds the little girl who was so unkind, she pushed away the kid’s dancing partner. Instead of appeasing her jealous ways, our suited protagonist simply dances away, leaving her in tears.

Hopefully that little girl learned her lesson and will treat everyone with kindness for the rest of her life.
