Famous First Tweets: Twitter Turns 8

This month marks Twitter’s eighth birthday — that’s eight whirlwind years of sharing tiny little slices of our lives, our thoughts, and the stories that concern, delight, repel, and entertain us, all in 140 characters or fewer.

To commemorate this anniversary, Twitter has designed “First Tweets,” a site that allows users to see the first thought they broadcast out into the world over Twitter.

We thought it might be interesting to see the first Tweets of some famous “Tweetizens” while vowing to never use the term “Tweetizens” again.
