Lily Allen's New 'Sheezus' Video: Her Best Trolling Yet?

Lily Allen is one of our greatest celebrity trolls. She named her album Sheezus (guaranteed buzz), made controversial casting decisions in her recent video (provocative!) and is never not fighting with an arbitrary celeb.

Allen yesterday released the new video for the song “Sheezus” and, as she well knows, is sure to set the interwebs aflutter (see: this page) thanks to the non-stop name-checking of Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lorde, Queen B and Rihanna (which, how dare she).
Allen’s namechecks are reminiscent of Kendrick Lamar’s infamous verse on “Control”, in which he calls out almost every rapper in the game (from Jay-Z to A$AP Rocky to Mac Miller). We’ll have to wait and see whether Allen’s provocations will garner the same number of responses from her pop star targets.
