Even Sebelius’ farewell speech had a glitch. A page was missing from her remarks, forcing her to ad lib part of her address.
“Unfortunately, a page is missing,” she said after a pause. “So I’m just grateful for having this wonderful opportunity.”
The reaction was swift:
Since news of her departure leaked Thursday, Sebelius’ defenders have pointed out that despite the website glitches, her cringeworthy TV appearances and struggles at congressional hearings, Obamacare enrollment is set to surpass 7.5 million people this year. Some saw a metaphor in that, too.
