The Webby Awards Did An "In Memoriam" To Selfies, Because We Killed Them

At this point, one of the best parts of award shows are the “in memoriam” tributes (hi tear-jerking Barbra Streisand at the 2013 Oscars). This year’s Webby Awards were no different. But instead of honoring people lost this past year, the Webbys decided to mourn #selfies.

While selfies were born into this world as innocent photos, this year, they were beaten to death like Nicky Santoro in Casino. And we did that. Us. The Internet.
